Be An Observer

Every moment, emotion, and thought are new, distinct, and unique. We often give them labels and thus think they have come before many times but each has a different context and is therefor wholly different. Instead of thinking "Why am I here again?" or "Why am I ____ so often?" we can think of each of these as independent experiences which have a different formula to manipulate. We are not stuck there. There is no precedent. We have not been stuck here before and will never be stuck here again. We can choose to be free of any thought and the first step is remembering to be an observer of ourselves instead of the agent of our body.
